VIMA (VOICE independent Music Awards)is here again!!!
Here are the steps:
1. Visit http://www.popfolio.net/vmf/
(The sign up button is located on the top of the page)
2. Register for a new account, create your profile with Picture and Bio and upload your songs in mp3 format
3. To upload a song click on "add" button
4. Once song has been uploaded, you may click on the "submit song" button to tag the song to VIMA 2010.
5. ***Email your popfolio profile URL (e.g. popfolio.net/mybandsprofile) to vmf@voize.my to complete submission***
Once you have uploaded your songs, please ensure you have the title of the song, and include the title of the album if you have so.
At this point, Voize will help determine which genre your song may be nominated for.
Malaysia's ONLY all Indie music awards is back for the 2nd year, and is expected to be Bigger, Badder and even more kick-ass than the last.
Voize.my, the organizer of VIMA 2010 is now calling out for nominations between
August 1st 2009 until November 15th 2009
All you have to do to submit is to send us your songs in mp3 format by uploading it into our Voize Music Factory platform
The Voize Music Factory platform allows you to input your songs, profile, links and customize each song to a specific category
Criteria for submission:
1. All submitted songs must have been released between December 1st 2008 until November 15th 2009
2. All submitted acts must be independent artistes not signed up as a recording artiste with any major recording labels (Warner,Universal or Sony). However, the artiste is eligible to submit any song or album distributed by a major label.
3. Acts submitting songs for VIMA 2010 MUST be Malaysian or a permanent resident in Malaysia. However, this criteria does not apply for the Best College Act award, whereby the act can be a non-Malaysian but must have studied in a Malaysian college/university for at least 2 years
4.Indie acts may submit unreleased songs for the awards. Even "live" sessions, concert songs or demos are eligible
