. Rock Street Journal in it's 15th Year Anniversary Issue names Motherjane Artist of the Year 2009
. One of only Eight International Artists chosen to perform at Java Rockin Land in Indonesia,
the concert was an incredible success introducing over 50,000 new fans to the band.
Performing professionally since 1996 till date, motherjane has virtually rocked all the great venues and festivals in the country ,including opening act for Opeth and MegaDeth when they recently Toured in India .
The song Tribes of Babel was written for Amnesty International PEACE, musicians in 56 countries came together to spread peace with the universal language of music.

Motherjane is one my favorite bands !! actually my favorite !! their music is mindblowing...5 very talented guys play stuff which no other band can play . i always loved motherjane from the beginning. As Riddhiman mentioned , the fusion of rock and carnatic music really clicks ! i'm not surprised that the band has been winning many awards . Hope they continue the winning streak and keep it going !!! i would like to mention one quote which a friend of mine says...i think it applies to all janiacs out there... "AMAJANIAC". \m/otherjane !!!! |
