Welcome to a universe full of mysticism and creative light, bringing electronic music far beyond the boundaries of Lounge Music and World Beat.
JP, aka Jean-Pierre, is a French artist who many years ago fell in love with South East Asia and particularly with Malaysia, finding his muse in a part of the world where sunshine and smiles greet him every day.
He gladly allows himself to become immersed in this rich, varied culture, absorbing inspiration from every direction, in turn inspiring his followers with refreshing, universal, East-meets-West music.
JP produces tracks in his Kuala Lumpur studio, reworking melodies and samples recorded on his globe-hops to create unique fusions, citing Moby, Enigma, Buddha Bar, Avicii, BT and Martin Solveig, to name a few, as influences, alongside the many talented local musicians of the contemporary South East.
The result is award-winning compositions such as "Kids", "I Feel Love", and the magical "Geisha".
He also performs as a DJ, playing electro-house.

JP's SUCCESSES
. In 2009, JP won two awards at the VIMA 2008: Best Instrumental for the dance track "Kids" that he composed with DJ Nicky C, and 3rd best dance song for his "I Feel Love (club remix)".
. Some of JP's tracks have been played at the mythic Cafe Del Mar (Ibiza, Spain) by the father of chill-out music Jose Padilla.
. In 2008, the short film "Goat", with its music composed entirely by JP, won the prestigious People's Choice Award at the BMW Shorties competition.
. Several of his tracks have been licensed to be part of documentaries, ads, web sites and promo videos.
. "I Feel Love" has been praised for its fresh appeal by Santana vocalist Tony Lindsay.
. JP has been featured in the Malay Mail, one of the most read newspapers in Malaysia, as "Album of the Week".
. In 2006, JP won Best Composition from Malaysia at Music Aid for "Geisha", and in 2007, the same song was also an Independent Music Awards finalist in the World Fusion category.
. As a DJ, he held the "Lounge Drip" evenings at Groove Junction with performers who jammed along with him, he has a regular night at the beautiful Sky Bar and is resident DJ at the classy luxe lounge NEO in Kuala Lumpur.
JP'S MUSIC
. "Geisha" is included in the Canadian "Music for Coffee Beings" compilation, Volume 2.
. "Let the People Dance" is featured in the "Animal House" compilation, released by Urban Angel Music in 2008.
. DjayPee has remixed, among others, Beyoncé's "One Night Only", Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape", Pop Shuvit's "Freakshow", and Madonna's "Miles Away".
. JP released his two debut CDs, the soothing "Lounge" and the upbeat "Tempo" in 2008.
. JP's track "Destination Enjoy" is one of the tracks of the excellent Malaysian Voize compilation.
. DJ Nicky C has joined JP. Together, they have created a catchy dance track, "Kids", dream house style with a hint of trance and minimal techno, receiving a VIMA award in 2009. "Kids" and its various remixes have been released worldwide by sonic Vogue Records and are available on the major music download sites.
. JP's track "Himalaya Club" is one of the tracks of the acclaimed Goa Chillout Zone vol.2 compilation released by WOA records in 2009, compilation that has reached no.2 on the album charts in India overtaking Daughtry and Rob Thomas new albums.
. JP's track "Dreamland" has been released on 220V Recordings (Malaysia) in 2010.
